Who are we?

The Edge Directory and Wellington Town Guide are produced by local couple Richard & Yvonne Coupe.  Richard and Yvonne have lived in Wellington for 12 years and work in the local area and are involved in local community organisations.

Our aim:  The aim of The Edge is to provide information for the residents of Wellington and Rockwell Green on events, charities and community organisations and local busninesses and trades. 

Advertisers in the Edge are generally known by the Editorial team or are recommended to us.  While this gives a degree of confidence and as proprietors we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the articles and adverts we cannot accept liaibility for claims made by advertisers.

While the majority of aThe tdvertisers live in or around Wellington, businesses from further afield providing services that are not available locally are welcome to contact us for advertising space. 

Where is Wellington?

Wellington and the neighbouring village of Rockwell Green are nestled in the Vale of Taunton between the Blackdown and the Brendon Hills  just 5 miles from Taunton, the County Town of Somerset, and a half hour drive from Exeter and the beautiful Exmoor National Park.  Wellington's population of 14,000 are blessed with excellent links via the M5 motorway just two miles away and the Taunton and Tiverton railway stations provide direct travel to London Paddington in under two hours.
